Myatt, founder of the National Socialist Movement very radical Columbia the "NSM" was convicted and jailed for racist attacks, he is the author of a textbook
of fascist terrorism and a former leader of a group far right ultra-violent "Combat 18".

In an essay published on the Internet, entitled "From Neo-Nazism to Islam," write Myatt "How is it that I, a Westerner who has had 25 years of political involvement in extreme right-wing organizations, former leader of the political wing of the neo-Nazi group Combat 18, I am come I was present at the threshold of a mosque with a sincere desire to enter and convert me to Islam? "

"While it is these same people I clashed in the streets, I insulted and cons which I have used violent means - I have indeed spent time in prison for being the ringleader of a gang of skinheads in an attack cons Pakistanis.
He added: "I spent several decades of my life fighting for what I regarded as my people, my race and my nation, and endured two terms of imprisonment arising from my political activities."

Myatt, after a brief episode monastic after his second stay in prison, says he became a Muslim (in 1998) while working alone for long hours in a farm.

"... The mosque (in England) where I made my Shahadah, eight years ago, has received some anonymous letters about me and my associations previous policies, the letters which made some allegations about my sincerity. The brother who informed me told me that he and the imam did not even bother to read the mail, because I was their brother, and that's all there was to knowledge. He burned the letters. This incident, then the tears me down - I have many similar examples ... I have so many similar stories of friendship, quality, nobility, I found among Muslims ...

Myatt said recently that he had abandoned hope of a breakthrough by the extreme right and believed that Muslims were now the best hope in the fight against Zionism and the West.
"If these nationalists, or some of them want to help us, support us ... they can do the only right and honorable thing is to say, convert, revert, to Islam - accepting the superiority of Islam over all things and each element of the West. "
